Skills Covered: - Payroll system and legislation - Superannuation obligations - Payment summaries and payroll calculations - Manual payroll and accounting for salaries and wages - Setting up the Xero payroll - Processing personal leave, holiday pay and leave loading - Payroll tax - Calculating a termination payment - Payroll Liabilities, Salary sacrifice - End of year procedures and reconciling payroll - Business Activity Statements (BAS) compliance and other requirements - GST, Pay as you go (PAYG) income tax instalment, Pay as you go (PAYG) tax withheld - Fringe benefits tax (FBT) instalment, Luxury car tax (LCT), Wine equilisation tax (WET), Fuel tax credits - Instalment Activity Statements - Enter the transactions in Xero, make necessary adjustments and corrections in BAS Students will require access to Microsoft Windows to complete this course.
